TravelByJury.com is the 10,000 feet idea of a person known here as “Admin of TBJ.” Like a jury room, this site aims to be a spot where ideas about travel – specific places to go, don’t-miss spots, great hidden eateries, know-this-before-you-go advice, and un-listed treasures – are tossed about in a friendly, easy-to-use manner. This site thrives on Guest (aka “Juror”) Reviews & Local Reviews – submit one today!
One of the main ideas behind TravelByJury.com is ease for mobile use. Posts about travel are made in a short-paragraph fashion, with comments following the posts. Other travelers may comment on posts, or they can send in a review of their own, complete with links to more in-depth travel blogs/news stories/photos, etc. All reviews are anonymous unless otherwise directed by the reviewer, or “juror.” There’s no way to fit in all of, say, London, England in one post, never mind a short visit or a travel blog. But you can chime in and add your travel experiences into the conversations. Just keep it simple; the interface of TravelByJury.com is meant to move quickly.
Jurors are given a number in the jury pool (for anonymity and organization purposes), and if you enjoy a particular viewer, click (on post tags) or search for their juror number (ex: “juror #5″) and you can read everything they’ve submitted!
For more information about being a “juror” (writing a guest review or a local review) please check out our protocol, then send it on in through our submissions page, Facebook or email (travelbyjury@gmail.com)! Otherwise, happy reading and happy traveling!
